Xelement 2446 Women's 'Vigilant' Black Leather Logger Style Motorcycle Rider Boots with Inside Zipper

This is, I think, my 4th pair of these boots over 20ish years. I really love the general design - it's got the low heel, excellent tread, and basic combat/logger boot styling I really want in a MC boot that can also be ok for walking/hiking. I do feel like the style has changed a significant amount from the last time I bought a pair ~5 years ago. The ankle/calf of the boot is MUCH stiffer, nearly rigid and will require a significant break-in period to not cut into the back of my calf. I think the padding has shifted, too - I believe the top/edge opening used to have a little more cushion, and the tongue was much less cushioned. Also, the price has nearly doubled - still worth it, but not nearly the same value it used to have. Depending on how well the break-in period goes, I may actually look into another brand/model the next time around.

Nice, quality, thick boots!!!! These were purchased for my class. I need to break them in more, but I am happy.

Excellent ankle support, unbelievable non slip grip, great thick tread soles to last, no problem shifting my bike, nice style and great fit.

The boots are perfect. Real, heavy duty, biker boots. I love them.

Need to break them in, they are heavy but the are perfect for the bike.

Found these to be a bit uncomfortable on the ankles and back of the Calf. May require a breaking in period.

These are very nice boots. I love the look, feel and make of them. I have bought several boots over the years and these are good boots. They could use a little more padding in them, but I wear thicker socks to compensate.

Purchased these for my wife, as she is relatively new to riding (finally convinced her motorcycles aren't all death traps). The style and build of the shoes were exactly what I was expecting, and she loved the style, but we misjudged on size, so we are in the process of an exchange.
