Wow this is a great jacket with armor. Extremely well made, thick leather plenty of ventilation. Perfect for my part of the country (Massachusetts). Armor stays in place, for the price you can't go wrong, and as years go by it will look even cooler than it does now. I'm wearing it a couple hours a day now that it's winter here, hopefully by spring it will be a little softer not so stiff. I won't be using the liner, I wear Axial block on really cold days. It has 3 pockets on the inside, two that are giant and one breast pocket for your phone, but that is very thin material just stitched on. Hopefully that won't develop a hole and I lose my phone. All in all I really like the jacket.
See above!
I needed a cool weather jacket for Phoenix so this one looked perfect, 6 vents so it will get plenty of airflow. Cool weather here means you may start off in the high 30s but end in the low 70s. I removed the liner and went with a flannel long sleeve shirt. Worked great, plenty of pockets, well made, and warm enough but still adaptable.
Great Jacket, warm when the vents are closed and cool when they’re open.
I am an old codger bike rider looking for a jacket with particular features not easily all found in one garment. It took me hours to find this one on-line and I was cautiously enthusiastic when I discovered this racer style biker jacket at a reasonable price.
My ideal jacket had to have:
Protection - The buffalo leather on this jacket is heavy, robust and even stiff, pre-worn in. Removable elbow and shoulder armor satisfies my requirement.
Multi-season Use Capability - This jacket has a zip-out liner, albeit very thin and of questionable heat retention, a mesh interior attached to the leather, and six zippered vents in the chest, upper arms, and back. Thumbs up there!
Snug closing cuffs and collar - Snap closure on the collar and both zippers and snaps on the cuffs do the trick.
Adjustable waist Without Buckles - Again, adjustable snaps on the waist sides do the job.
Classy but not Flamboyant Styling - I am not interested in looking like Steve McQueen or Marlon Brando. This center zippered jacket with brass colored snaps and zippers and without epaulettes fits my style perfectly. I don't care that somebody has named it a "racing" jacket. It will serve well as a riding jacket and be conservatively classy as a general use jacket.
Sufficient but not Excessive Pockets - The two exterior front zippered slash pockets, two CCW interior pockets and interior zippered chest pocket are right up my alley.
I used the Milwaukee Leather sizing guide measurements to choose my appropriate size and the jacket that arrived fit me as if I had been to a store in person and tried on a dozen different garments. Additionally, I could find nary a fault with the materials, stitching, or finish of any aspect of this jacket. If it holds up through use, I will be a staunch Milwaukee Leather supporter.
