Well...

Considering it said the item was in stock on the website and then after a few days I was called and told it wasn't. Then I took a refund which took almost another week to get...I guess I can't comment on the item unfortunately but the service was subpar.

Rode in 40 degree weather

Rode in 40 degree weather and when I got where I was going [1 1/2 hrs later] my t-shirt was wet from sweating. Works great.

excellent jacket

I love this jacket. I am 46 years old and I have had a few leather motorcycle jackets over the years. I am somewhat picky and I know what I am talking about regarding them. I usually wear a large size. Sometimes an extra large, but not often. I am 6 feet 1 inch tall and I weight 195 lbs. with a 42 inch chest. I was a little hesitant about ordering the medium size, but I did and it was the correct decision. The jacket fits me perfectly. The leather is on the medium to leaning more towards the heavy side. It is a solid weight leather that will protect you pretty well shall you get into a bad situation riding, but the thing is the leather is supple as well. It has a very nice feel to it, and it is very comfortable to wear. Due to the nature of the naked cowhide it will break in well. Not like a steer hide, which can take a long time to break in and is often still rigid even once broken in. The leather on this jacket is pliable. The sleeves run a little long, not annoying long, but long enough that they won't ride up on your wrists too much when you have your arms extended to the bars when riding. That makes a big difference especially when riding long distances as it helps to keep the blood flowing to your hands. The lining is somewhat thin but substantial enough that it shouldn't become baggy over the years. There are a great amount of interior pockets. The front waist pockets are one of the few cons I have with this jacket. They are situated more towards the middle of the stomach due to the front rib vents. They are also shallow pockets. I have medium sized hands and my hands do not nestle into the pockets completely. Also due to the placement of the rib vents on the front I have found myself when riding and reaching blindly for the front waist pockets that my hands end up finding the front rib vents initially instead of the pockets. This isn't a huge deal for me. It takes a little getting used to. I'll take deeper front waist pockets that my hands can nestle into and things in the pockets can nestle into without falling out over front rib vents any day. I haven't had anything fall out of the front waist pockets yet, but it is something that is a possibility and as a result I have been keeping the front waist pockets zippered up when riding. That brings me to the other con I have with this jacket which is the front button collar. The collar rises up diagonally from the front towards the back of the neck and is comfortable, and when the collar is buttoned in the front it is very secure and fitting, but when the front of the collar is not buttoned it is definitely somewhat awkward. When you aren't riding there is a good possibility that you aren't going to have the front of the collar buttoned, and due to the design of the button tab wanting to come across the lower neck area to meet up with the other buttoned area the unbuttoned collar is somewhat obtrusive and annoying. It isn't a big deal, and I might actually remove the buttoned part of the collar and stitch it up. Regardless of the cons with the front waist pockets being shallow and in a somewhat odd placement, and the buttoned collar being effective yet awkward when not buttoned this jacket is truly awesome. The added feature of the the heating system is totally amazing. I mean a jacket of this high quality with a good heating system, and it is a very good heating system is the true selling point that pushed me into the oh yeah I am definitely buying this jacket. It is a very effective heating system. Welcome to the 21st century. The technology on this jacket rocks. That brings me to my last point, and to me it is important. The styling on this jacket is very unique, not too flashy, and totally bad ass. I highly recommend this jacket. It is a great motorcycle riding jacket.
