I am giving this vest five stars for the quality of the leather, stitching, lining, and hardware. All are amazing! I ordered a large and it fit like my large shirts. If I did not live in Phoenix where It's warm 11 months of the year, I would have needed an extra large to allow me to wear layers beneath it.
I did return it though, and not because It's not an awesome vest. I am just not a fan of the hundreds of pockets that all modern club vests seem to have. This is no exception. There are pockets inside of pockets inside of pockets, and they're everywhere. They add bulk and heat, and I've learned over thousands of miles that I really only need two slash pockets on the sides. My sidearm rides in a secure shoulder holster, so the massive CCW pockets with all of the elastic keepers are bulky and redundant.
I ended up having to have a vest custom made to get what I wanted. If I could make a suggested improvement not related to pockets since I know some people love them and would like more, it would be to add patch access zippers in the lining similar to the vests not made in the USA. If I had kept this vest, I would have been disappointed that the cheaper foreign made vests have this feature, and the high quality American made vests do not.

awesome vest , quality leather , soft and heavy , just a heads up , they run big , i,m a 40 chest and usually wear a medium , i had to send it back and get a small , and i can still wear a hoodie under it , go with the size chart that they supply and you should be good
