I have a hard time finding boots that have a wide calf but also in a size 5 and was so looking forward to getting these after reading the reviews stating that they fit wider calves. Loved the look and feel of these boots. However, the shaft was not wide enough and I couldn't get them zipped for my chubby legs so I had to return them.

They are beautiful boots I ordered the wrong size so they are to small for me

Milwaukee crafts an excellent boot. This is my 2nd pair of boots from Leather Up buying Milwaukee brand. Shipping was average, cost is excellent, product is top notch. My last pair made it through 4yrs of moderate/rough daily wear. The all around comfort of these boots is awesome once broken in (about 1wk), they grip the road and office building floors without any issues. My one gripe is the size runs small. If you have muscular calves the laces truly help with adjustability in the width of your calves. You may also want to pick up a longer pair of boot laces or make your own with Paracord... multi-purpose :wink:) They are a bit on the heavy side if you're not used to wearing a well made boot. The last size I bought through them was 7.5 regular (I normally wear 6.5w in all other brands/makes of shoes) so when I saw they had my regularly worn size in stock this time, that's what I ordered. When I put them on, I felt like Cinderella's step sister trying to get that tiny glass slipper on her giant foot :rofl: so the lesson in my folly ladies? Order at least a half to one full size larger and avoid feeling like the ugly step sister lol :laughing:
