I did not expect to get the quality of leather that I got in this vest... very soft leather not the cheap stuff or flimsy brittle fake leather.The fit was very comfortable and the adjustment was easy and sturdy. The only issue is the sizing.... they run small so go up a size or 2

Side straps do not adjust much. Well made vest.
