Event Leather EL5360 Black Motorcycle Leather Vest with Denim Style Pockets -Riding Club Adult Vests

Mine was a gift from 3-4 years ago. It has seen quite a few road miles. All of the snaps and zippers still work perfectly which is a big deal to me. The side laces didn't last very long before they dried up and snapped. I replaced those with paracord. The leather vest material and the stitching are still very sound. I think I could wear it another 3-4 years and it would still be fine. The leather was never soft or premium feeling, but it looked good once it was broken in. I'm upgrading right now. At this price point you can't go wrong.

A huge takeaway from this vest is the leather laces in the sides are absolutely crap. Date break when you pull on them...
Milwaukee leather, you've got to upgrade these laces to something decent...

Until then Spend the four or five bucks it takes to replace them with decent leather boot laces....

I wear this vest almost every day. I bought mine about 6 months ago in a leather shop near Chicago. The price was marked down to 25 dollars. I wear a size medium and this vest fits great. The leather is fairly low quality. But it's authentic. I added some mink wax and wore it in the rain a couple times, and it's much better. The leather lacing is garbage. I replaced mine with waxed boot lace. The inside 'concealed carry' pockets are awkwardly placed. I lost a cell phone on my motorcycle because I didn't button my vest up. I sewed another pocket to the inside that's more practical for carrying keys, cell phone and such. No real complaints except maybe about the inside pockets being insecure. Overall I am happy with the vest. I would not expect much protection in the event of a serious spill on a motorcycle but it at least puts a fairly rigid layer of leather between my vital organs and the elements.
