I ordered this vest back in June 2023 to replace my previous vest that lasted 13 years. This one, started splitting and cracking after less than two years.

When I received this vest, I noticed the back panel had a few flaws in the leather. Creases that looked thin. A few seams were less than perfect, but I chalked it up to mass manufacturing tolerances.

The flawed panel though, gave me real concern. So, I’ve taken extra precautions to keep it conditioned and well cared for.

Despite these efforts, it split in both places anyway.

Beyond that issue, which I hardly suspect would be repeated often if ever… the hardware is excellent, the rest of the leather is solid quality, and aged to a beautiful patina veeerrry nicely.
