Milwaukee Leather MBM9000 Men's Black Lace-Up Motorcycle Riding Leather Boots with Side Zipper Entry

I had high hopes for these boots, as Milwaukee Leather delivered a high quality leather jacket and gloves. The design of these boots is very attractive. I like that they have both a zipper and laces. My foot is a size 12, and that size has been consistent with all other major brands, and although this shoe fits snugly until the toe area and the soles are the exact same size as my other shoes, the toe area has this wide box like design I assume is for wider feet with high arches. I have a slim foot, though I don't wear a narrow in any other shoe and a low arch. My toes moved around too much in this area for me to feel safe shifting on a motorcycle.

I made the right choice

I really like the boots but they were to big. I wanted to order another size that was out of stock.

This is an outstanding boot. Not slippery on oily or wet pavement. Keeps feet warm and mostly dry in the winter, and cool in the Texas summer. (Feet do get wet while riding during extended heavy downpours.) Protects feet and ankles during high speed crash (tested at 75 MPH). Comfortable wearing all day during Iron Butt rides. Comfortable walking all day in Sturgis and Daytona. Soles and uppers never separate. Eventually, the left sole wears out from pivoting while mounting bike. Expect boot to last two-to-five years, depending on use. I've worn this same boot (or earlier models of it) for 12 years and 250K miles. Just bought another pair.

Nice boots. Comfortable. Look nice. However, after one ride in them, I have a scuff in the toe that is like the black wore off the boots. I have a feeling that these boots are not going to last very long.

Higher quality than what I'm used to. Hope to wear these for many years.

Well made, comfortable boots. Good price. Zip side makes slipping the boots on easy.
