My thigh measured 24 1/2 inches and I bought the XL which says is for 25 1/2 inches. They still fit snug even going up a size. I do think they'll mold and stretch a little as all leather does.
The leather and zippers appear good quality.
Personally, I do not need the lace up on the back and I find it oddly placed on the back of the thigh, It's too far on the internal side. They do not loosen the thighs at all as I thought they might.
I still believe these chaps will be a good investment over time.

Sounds weird but order a size up from your shirt size and will fit perfectly. Men's and woMen's. 1st order was extremely to small but got it right on the next. Just will have to trim the bottom if you short.

Chaps are adjustable for the perfect fit. Snaps and Zippers are good quality. They are long for custom length. Stiff at first but will relax with wear. Definitely Kept my legs warm on a cool night.

I am 5'2' and weigh 103lbs. I purchased an XXXS and the fit is perfect!
