I had to exchange a jacket because it was literally falling apart. I chose this one because it was close to what I returned.

hoodie In it you can feel the wind through it when riding. I ride a Goldwing with a big ferring and windshield. Using my quilted liner from another jacket helps.
Definitely don't recommend this for winter riding.
Not sure why this jacket cost so much more then others since it's such a lightweight jacket.
The BUT comes from the fact that the sleeves of this jacket are built slimmer and don't allow for much "elbow room" when bending the arm. Couple that with the vent zipper being situated right in the bend of the elbow, this is further restriction in that area. Another thing is that the elastic sides are very stiff with very little give in them. With my build, I had to open the back zipper in order to get the room I needed. which I expected to have from the anticipated give in the elastic sides. My biggest complaint is with the sweatshirt built in as the liner. The material of the sweatshirt is not a soft fleece-like inside but is rough, which hampers getting in and out of the jacket sleeves when you have another long-sleeved shirt on. I actually remade the sleeves with a silky lining and it works much better. Overall, I like this jacket and have received many compliments on it. My personal build is hard to accommodate so I had to go mainly by the measurements shown for the jacket. One additional measurement that should have been shown is hip circumference. Would have helped me make a more informed initial decision. Another thing to consider, which I didn't initially, is that in the rain, the hood of the sweatshirt, while attractive, will get wet and all of that moisture will wick down your back inside your jacket. As a result, I cut the hood off and made a mandarin collar instead. Thankfully I sew quite well and can make these adjustments. Overall this jacket is attractive and I can live with these small inconveniences. Hopefully the leather will soften up in the elbows and the hips as the jacket gets used.
Well made leather, perfect fit. Love that inner hoodie can be removed but also has ways to secure to jacket on inside

I used the chart and made a good faith size up judgment as almost everything gear has been smaller than the chart said. Ended up fitting perfectly and is super comfortable only thing I wish it had was pockets for armor to be added in.
