I read the reviews and was concerned with getting the right size. It seemed like the right way to go was 2 sizes larger. However, mine was too big when I did this. It wound up fitting over my leather instead of under. I would only go one size bigger. I can attest that it is pretty water proof though! We road 320 miles in rain and snow and I as drenched at the end but mostly dry. I could also feel the heat on high through my leather so it was very helpful.

Great product, looks good and fit perfect. The heated jacket was perfect for me.
