Typically I wear a XL in shirts, but based on the reviews I ordered the XXL. If you intend to ONLY wear this over a t-shirt, then the size is true to size. If you want any breathing room or have it fit over anything more than a t-shirt, the one size larger seems correct. I'm glad I went with the XXL as opposed to the XL because I will be able to wear it over a hoodie. If I lose any weight and only wear a t-shirt, I'll probably order the XL. Overall, I am THRILLED with this purchase and would order Milwaukee Motorcycle Clothing Co. in a heartbeat.

Order one size larger, they run smaller. I had to send mine back for the next size larger

This is a great quality vest. this has plenty of pockets (esp my fav the gun pocket} Please be aware i recommend ordering 1 size bigger than normal, it runs a little small.
