A little on the smaller size, a little bulky, not slim at all and very warm

i ordered this woman's jacket in a small for Christmas for my 13 year old daughter and when it arrived it looked like it could fit a younger 10 year old kid, it was super tight and uncomfortable.
the material was great and thick, we loved that part, we love the pattern super cute BUT the fit was heart breaking and quite frankly unbelievable. i will exchange for a bigger size since she loved everything else about this jacket.

Ordered a 3xl, neck tag says 3xl, actual size estimated to be a large?
